Packaging & Delivery

How your machines are packed, which trade terms we quote, and what is confirmed before a container leaves the factory.

Packaging

Packing is part of the quotation, not a surprise.

Machines are packed for sea transport as a normal part of the order, and standard packing is normally free of charge. The one case with its own price is a single machine travelling LCL: it usually needs an independent wooden case, and that cost is explained before you commit and included in the quotation.

Agreed packaging rule
Standard packaging is normally free of charge; full-container shipments usually carry no extra packaging cost. The wooden-case cost for LCL single machines is explained in advance and included in the quotation.

Wooden-case packing for LCL machines is described per project and shipping route, as the destination requires — not as one uniform customs rule for all countries. Where it helps the decision, an example photo of the case goes out with the quotation.

The three shipping situations

  • Standard packing

Sea-worthy packing prepared for every order — normally free of charge.

  • Full container (FCL)

A full-container export usually adds no extra packaging cost.

  • Single machine, LCL

Usually travels in an independent wooden case; the case cost is told in advance and stands in the quotation.

Trade terms

EXW and FOB first. CIF once the port is fixed.

CIF is worked out when you have confirmed the destination port and ask us to cover sea freight and insurance — not as a standing default.

Terms we quote on

Mainly EXW and FOB. CIF can be quoted once the customer has confirmed the destination port.

How a CIF price is built

Equipment cost and sea freight are listed separately. Sea freight is adjusted to the actual situation on the shipping date.

When sea freight moves

Against the reference sea freight as the base: the part of an increase above 10% is paid by the buyer, and the part of a decrease below 10% is deducted from the balance payment. This is not 10% of the total equipment price.

Reference freight at the quotation stage is calculated from estimated packing dimensions and weight. Once the machine is finished and the packing method is fixed, the actual dimensions, weight and number of packages are verified; the final packing list and the shipping booking are made from those figures.

Shipment release

Nothing is packed until five things are done.

A machine enters packing and shipment only after testing is finished, the agreed acceptance is complete and the pre-shipment payment has actually arrived. These are the same gates the Project Process page describes — listed here so you can check a delivery against them.

An ordinary order ships once the full contract value is received. A larger project that keeps a retainer for installation ships once 90% is received, with the last 10% paid after installation and one month of normal running.

  1. Machine tests completed

The power-on and no-load run in our factory, plus any test agreed for the order.

  2. Photos and test-run video sent

You receive photos of the finished machine and a video of the run before the shipment payment stage.

  3. Agreed acceptance completed

Third-party inspection or material tests agreed for the order run before release.

  4. Your confirmation received

Packing starts once you have seen the evidence and confirmed, with no objection open.

  5. Pre-shipment payment received

The agreed share is actually received by our bank — not only initiated.

Documents

The papers that travel with the machine.

The set depends on the project and the trade term. These are the standard papers; anything special is agreed before shipment.

  • Commercial invoice
  • Packing list
  • Bill of lading or the agreed delivery papers
  • Operating manual
  • Electrical documentation
  • Spare & wear-parts list
  • Certificate of origin when requested in advance
  • Special customs papers when requested in advance
Certification documents
The applicable documents are provided when the customer explicitly requests them. Certifications are not advertised proactively.
